Varanasi also known as Banaras and Kashi is one of the oldest living cities in the world. It is believed to be the holiest city of India.
As you reach Varanasi, you will be greeted by our Tour Representative. He will assist you to the hotel till your check-in process. He will brief you about your trip and will hand over the tour related documents.
Start your tour from Sarnath, which is also considered as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO. It is the place where Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon. Then pay a visit to Sarnath Museum, Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Vihar.
Later in the evening you will witness the major attraction of Varanasi - The grand Aarti ceremony performed by several priests on the banks of River Ganges, it will mesmerise you. The majestic blended sound of Sanskrit mantras, bells, cymbals and drums will be a delight to hear. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Early in the morning, enjoy boat cruise across the river Ganges. You can visit the numerous temples alongside river Ganga and get a closer view of Hinduism being in Varanasi. Take a walk in the narrow streets of Varanasi and experience the daily life of the natives. Do pay a visit to one of the major attraction Kashi Vishwanath temple (or Golden Temple).
As your trip comes to an end, our executive will accompany you to the airport from where you will board your flight for onward journey. Note: People of other religion are restricted to enter the temple, only Hindus can enter.
