Varanasi also known as Banaras and Kashi is one of the oldest living cities in the world. It is believed to be the holiest city of India.
As you reach Varanasi, you will be greeted by our Tour Representative. He will assist you to the hotel till your check-in process. He will brief you about your trip and will hand over the tour related documents. Relax and refresh yourself in hotel
Later In the evening get ready to witness the major attraction of Kashi “the grand Aarti” (Hindu ritual) performed by several priests, reciting Sanskrit mantras along with the sound of bells, drums and cymbals. The whole atmosphere becomes a delight to watch. Stay overnight at hotel.
Early in the morning take a Cruise across the Ganges during sunrise, while observing the Hindu lifestyle and rituals. You can take a stroll in the narrow lanes of Old Varanasi to witness the daily life of the natives. Visit the holy area around Kashi Vishwnath Temple [Only Hindus are allowed to enter] also known as Golden Temple.
Later take a drive to Sarnath, which is also considered as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO. It is the place where Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon. Then pay a visit to Sarnath Museum, Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Vihar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Have a delicious breakfast in hotel. Get ready for your last city tour in the city. Visit Banaras Hindu University [BHU], Bharat Kala Bhawan, New Kashi Vishwnath temple, Durga temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Tulasi Manas Temple. Later you will be transferred to airport to board a flight for a journey back home.
